KamilAI ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-based photo enhancement services. For data protection matters, we act as a data controller for account, billing, analytics, and support data, and as a processor for image content you upload for enhancement.
2. Data we collect
- Account and session identifiers: generated user IDs and related metadata used to manage your workspace and credits.
- Uploaded content: family photos, person photos, and text instructions provided for enhancement.
- Usage and billing data: subscription status, transaction-related IDs, and usage counters.
- Technical data: browser/device details, IP-derived region, and page interaction events when analytics cookies are accepted.
3. Why we process personal data
- Service delivery (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to process uploads, run AI enhancement, and present results.
- Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): accounting, fraud prevention, and compliance obligations.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): service security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): optional analytics cookies and similar technologies.
4. Cookies and tracking
We only enable non-essential analytics after you opt in through our cookie banner. You can refuse or change your decision anytime via "Cookie settings" in the app footer.
5. Sharing and processors
We use vetted service providers for hosting, database operations, payments, analytics, and AI processing. These providers process data under contractual safeguards and only on documented instructions.

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards.
7. Retention
